Sulaimaniya students are ready for coding

Grade 9 students of Sulaimaniya college participated in the hour of code session at code.org. The code.org motivated the students to learn building blocks of coding. The training was conducted by Mrs. M.N.F Nuska of Sulaimaniya college. Students enjoyed the session and asked for more.

According to Wikipedia, the website includes free coding lessons and the initiative also targets schools in an attempt to encourage them to include more computer science classes in the curriculum.

The vision of Code.org is that every student in every school has the opportunity to learn computer science, just like biology, chemistry or algebra. Code.org is supported by generous donors including Amazon, Facebook, Google, the Infosys Foundation, Microsoft, and many more.
